Happy New Year – On behalf of our Lady Captain Nora Flynn I would like to wish our Members, Sponsors and all the hard working staff in West Waterford a Happy and Healthy 2023.
Geraldine Curran in Form – Geraldine Curran must be one of the most consistent players in the club. In the December 9 hole competition kindly sponsored by Kathleen Broderick, Geraldine emerged a worthy winner with 34 points playing off a 9 hole handicap of 18. It is great to see Jean Conway back in the winners enclosure. Jean playing off 11 had 32 points to take second while Bridget Broderick playing off 19 also brought in 32 points. Bridget is another one of those players who goes out and plays good golf on a consistent basis. Well Done Ladies
Winter League – The Winter League will kick off properly this week. Remember 2 nine hole cards must be submitted by the 31st January. The days are getting a little brighter and hopefully drier. It is time to hit the fairways! Good Luck to all the teams. Lets hope we will have a close finish.
