  • A golf course that “sums up the beauty and peacefulness of the Irish landscape’ (Destination Golf Ireland 2023)
  • ‘The best golf course in Co. Waterford’ (Ivan Morris, golf journalist & former Irish Amateur International)
  • ‘The best greens I played on all year’ (Ian Cronin, aka @Thesocialhacker)

What might have been, Seamus!

Seamus entered the Valspar Championship off some improved form and some made cuts as he continues his comeback from last year’s injury. And once again, here he comfortably made the cut and after three rounds in the 60’s sat in 2nd place going out on Sunday in the last group with leader Keith Mitchell. Unfortunately, Sunday was to be an entirely different story for both men and a final round 76 saw Seamus drop down the field into a tie for 26th place. Nevertheless, when he looks back Seamus can be happy with yet another steady week. He now takes a well deserved break before next teeing it up, probably at the Valero Texas Open.

Gary back in action

Gary Hurley continued his return to golf with a couple of promising weeks on the Challenge Tour in India. In the first of these last week, at the Delhi Open, four steady rounds saw him finish on -12 in a tie for 22nd place. Then this week at the Kolkata Challenge, after a disappointing Saturday, he finished with a best of the day 66 on Sunday to end the week in a tie for 16th. These two weeks should serve to give Gary confidence for the rest of his season ahead.
