President & Captains’ Drive-in marks start of 2025
West Waterford Golf Club kicked off 2025 in style last Sunday with a very enjoyable afternoon for our President and Captains’ Drive-In. A large crowd of members and guests gathered to celebrate the occasion, joining newly appointed Captains Shane Hanrahan, Geraldine Hickey, and Ross Kavanagh, along with President Ciara Donnelly, as they officially launched the new year.
The weather was on our side, the craic was good, and all four successfully sent their opening drives down the first fairway. After the successfully drive in, those attending participated in a very enjoyable social scramble—an ideal opportunity for both long-standing and new members to mingle. The day concluded with refreshments in the clubhouse, expertly organised by the club’s house & social committee.
It was a fantastic start to the year for West Waterford Golf Club. We all wish Shane, Geraldine, Ross, and Ciara a very enjoyable and successful year ahead!

The 3rd Annual General Meeting of West Waterford Golf Club will take place on Wednesday, 29th January 2025 in the Clubhouse at 7.00 p.m.
Membership Fees
Reminder, club membership fees are due by 31st Jan. 2025. You can pay online via the Membership section in the BRS app, or by contacting the office.
