Club AGM
The Club Annual General Meeting will take place on Thurs 29th January at 7.00pm in the clubhouse, and all members are encouraged to attend.
Nominations for the Management Committee and Board of Directors should be submitted by email to the Honorary Secretary at honsecretary@westwaterfordgolf.com. There are currently two vacancies on the Board of Directors, and the club would particularly welcome nominations from female members as it continues to work towards achieving the 30:30:40 gender balance across all committees.
Membership
Existing members who have not yet paid their 2026 membership fees are encouraged to do so as soon as possible. Payments can be made online via BRS by selecting the Membership option from the menu. Alternatively, members may call to Colin in the Pro Shop, who will be happy to assist.

Club Winter League, sponsored by Comeragh Oil
The Club Winter League continued last week, with some excellent scoring recorded despite the cold conditions. Members are reminded that each team player must submit four nine-hole cards and four 13-hole cards.
Once this requirement has been met, bonus points are available for submitting six cards in each format, as well as for improving on scores already returned. While the gaps between teams may appear wide at present, every point will prove crucial as the competition draws to a close, so members are encouraged to get out and play whenever possible.
| Teams | 9 hole total | 13 hole total | Overall total |
| Ardmore | 243 | 378 | 621 |
| Villierstown | 187 | 388 | 575 |
| Affane | 189 | 377 | 566 |
| Clashmore | 156 | 405 | 561 |
| Grange | 207 | 353 | 560 |
| Cappoquin | 212 | 311 | 523 |
| Tourneena | 199 | 297 | 496 |
| Ring | 149 | 327 | 476 |
| Ballymacarbry | 198 | 261 | 459 |
| Tallow | 145 | 267 | 412 |
| Knockanore | 133 | 277 | 410 |
| Kinsalebeg | 170 | 212 | 382 |

| Kilrossanty | 132 | 190 | 322 |
| Stradbally | 156 | 159 | 315 |
| Aglish | 119 | 186 | 305 |
Participants are reminded that a 9-hole and a 13-hole card cannot be submitted from the same round for the purposes of the league. All 9-hole and 13-hole cards must be recorded from separate rounds. In addition, players are asked to ensure that all scorecards are properly signed, as unsigned cards will be disqualified.
Spot Prize winner week 7: Patricia O’Shea
Hole in One
Congratulations to Paul Kelleher on recording a hole-in-one at the 13th this week. Rumour has it that Paul was losing badly to Batt as he stood on the tee and was forced to produce something special to secure the bragging rights among the Corkonians.
As the saying goes, “cometh the hour, cometh the man”, and the rest is history. Well done, Paul.
