Competitions: The December 9 Hole Competition is kindly sponsored by Geraldine Hickey; a win or a place in the ongoing 13 Hole Competition will yield some lovely prizes. You have till December 21st. The Queen of the 9 Hole Competition will take place in the New Year. A shortened Winter League will commence in early January.
Your New Year’s resolution: Encourage a friend to join the Golf Club, where fresh air, sunshine, scenery, exercise and comradery abound.
WHS: Many of us are coming to terms with the need for a handicap index and a playing handicap. The WHS yields a level playing pitch for you golf all over the world, though currently you are confined to playing Golf within your county.
