Ladies Notes w/e Sun 18th Oct 2020

As I write these Notes I am thinking of how lucky we are to have access to a golf course in these unusual times. It is just wonderful to get out in the air and away from the News for a few hours! You might be playing reasonably well or not so well but it really does not matter. Hopefully we will be allowed to continue to play as we enter a new phase of COVID-19 restrictions. It is vitally important that we continue to follow all the protocols in place and stay safe.

Catherine Ruane – Queen of the Birdies!: Throughout the season Catherine Ruane has featured in these Notes throughout the year. She is a great competitor with a huge array of shots at her disposal. It is no surprise that Catherine has accrued the most Birdies over the Summer season. Congratulations Catherine.

13 Hole Competition in aid of Breast Cancer Research: The entry in our on-going 13 Hole competition in aid of Breast Cancer Research is absolutely astounding. The competition closes at the end of the month and the real winners will be the Breast Cancer Research teams. On behalf of our Lady Captain Phil I would like to thank everyone for their generous support.

On-Going Competition: There is currently a 13 hole and 9 hole competition running. Remember if you don’t play you can’t win!
