Ladies Notes w/e 22nd March 2020

The Ladies Committee had a Virtual meeting this week to discuss the current situation regarding Covid-19. Luckily for all of us, golf clubs have remained open albeit with strict regulations in place. We request all our members to only play in twos. The 2 metre protective distances must be strictly adhered to , the flag should be left in the pin at all times, and at this stage, rakes have been removed from all bunkers.

Winter League Final: We hope to run the final over two days on next Saturday and Sunday. Obviously this arrangement is dependent on Covid-19 developments. The Winter League book and cards will be in the Mens Hut adjacent to the first tee. One person only to enter hut and please bring your own pen. There is no entry fee for this round. When you have finished take a photo of your scorecard front and back and Whatsapp to Deirdre Ruane. Place card in Winter League box. Please let the Captain of your team know if you are not playing.

Club Competitions: The 9 hole and 13 hole competitions will run until the end of the month.

Use of Social Media: The power of Social Media, i.e Whatapp was very evident this week. The Committee Whasapp was invaluable while our Members Whatsapp was very busy. It is a great way of maintaining contact with each other! Stay Safe in these surreal time.
