West Waterford Golf Club – Ladies Notes

Mixed Fortunes for Seamus:  All I can say is, that it seemed that all of West Waterford Golf Club and indeed people from all over Waterford and adjoining counties were following Seamus over the last four days at the Irish Open in Mount Juliet.  It was a wonderful spectacle.  Seamus played super golf on Thursday and Friday and again showed his remarkable resilience on Sunday.  I have to say that when you see all these golfers performing “live” they are absolutely fantastic.  Thanks Seamus. Now we look forward to the Open in St Andrews.

Mary Donnelly Plays Solid Golf:  The June 9 Hole competition produced some great results.  Well done Mary Donnelly playing off 14 who brought in a score of 41 points.  In second our always working Secretary Briget Blackwell also had 41 points playing off 16.  The third slot was filled by Trish O Shea playing off 22 who had a very fine 40 points. The handicaps reported are the 9 hole handicaps
