Ladies Note w/e 14th July 2019

Following on from the excitement of last week-end’s Lady Captain’s prize the past week has also been very busy as players take to the fairways in the current lovely spell of good weather.

Café Bliss Competition – Girls named Mary!  Having the Christian name Mary was certainly a good omen in last week’s Café Bliss competition:  No less than all three winners are called Mary.  Leading the pack with 38 Points and playing off 34  was Mary Herlihy, fresh from the Winners’ podium on Lady Captain’s night. In second place was the consistent Mary Donnelly playing off 21 also with a fine 38 points. Filling the 3rd spot was Mary French playing off 34 with 35 points.  Mary has been playing very little this season, but this results augers well for the rest of the season.
