Killeagh GAA Classic

The annual Killeagh GAA Classic takes place at West Waterford this weekend on Thursday Friday and Saturday  The format is a 3 person Champagne scramble. There are still a few spaces available. Ring Ray Rochford on 087 2330054.

 Irish Open at Lahinch

A large contingent from the club made the trip to Lahinch over the four days last weekend.  This was an opportunity to support our hero Seamus and see at first hand his performance in a major event on home soil.  Of course we would have liked a different result but a true supporter accepts the highs and lows in any sport and looks  forward to better days ahead.  Seamus was proud to be there and we were equally proud to cheer him on.  We all relished the occasion and the tired limbs and aching feet will heal in time.  It’s back to business a usual this week as Seamus returns to the PGA tour playing in the John Deere Classic.  Congratulations to Robin Dawson on an excellent performance at the Irish Open.
