Seamus Power looking forward to Irish Open at Lahinch
West Waterford’s PGA player Seamus Power is relishing the opportunity to play in this year’s Irish Open. Looking back on a distinguished career Seamus recalls 18 years ago when he joined his West Waterford pals as a marshall in the Irish Open at Fota Island. He also recalls playing as an amateur at Carton House in 2005 and again in 2013 when he was playing in the mini tours in the U.S. Seamus has come a long way since those days and is delighted to to be playing in front of his loyal home fans at Lahinch this week. Now playing in the top echelons of the USPGA tour he will not be overawed playing in the Irish Open among the greats of the game. He knows and we know that he has the game to be on page one of the leaderboard. With the green army behind him this will be a very special week for all of us at Lahinch Irish Open 2019. Best of luck Seamus.
