Club Singles Matchplay Final
The final between Des Cleary and Percy Walsh was played on Saturday 28th September. The early going favoured Des who held a one- hole lead through 4 holes. However some great golf from Percy saw him play the next four holes in nett one over par to take a two- hole lead at the turn. Still 2 up after twelve, Percy found trouble on 13 and 14 to relinquish his lead. Another win on 15, and a half on 16 had Percy one up with two to go. Des produced his best three shots of the day to birdie the 17th and level the match for the fourth time. Both players had a chance to clinch the match on the 18th but after each putt went agonisingly close the match continued down the 19th. Once again Des took command and rolled in a three foot put to clinch the win in a roller coaster contest played in a sporting manner. Well done to both players. Thank you to everyone who took part and to our sponsor Mr Pat Murphy.

Club Fourball Final
Pat Higgins and Owen O Keeffe will play Brian Nolan and Jim Quinn in the final.
On completion of the three matchplay finals a date will be set for presentation of prizes.
