Top ten finish for Seamus Power at The Players Championship
“This is why you practice. All the way back to playing in West Waterford, that is why you’re practising crappy conditions , and when things are going badly, this is why you fight through it to get in these kind of spots and see all the work pay off.”
Those words of wisdom from Seamus show why he is at the top of his game playing in the majors with the top players in professional golf. Playing in just his second major having tied for 27th at the Masters, Seamus produced four consistent rounds at the weekend to finish tied 9th. He is now reaping the rewards for years of dedicated hard work and patience. Much will be written as to how he got to where he is today. For our part we would just like to acknowledge his many achievements to date. Well done Seamus and keep up the good work.
We extend our sympathies to Sean Wade and family on the passing of his wife.
May Deirdre Rest in Peace.
