Congratulations to Kieran Mulligan of the Mulligan Family team  who had a hole in one on the 4th hole in the Killeagh Classic on Thursday last.

Friday 22nd July – Mixed Scramble.  Draw for partners at 6.15. Presentation of all  outstanding competition prizes at 9pm.

Sat 23rd and Sun 24th July; 18 Hole Stableford Competition sponsored by Old Bank Restaurant.

Presidents  Prize Mr David Condon; Qualifiers on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th July.  Final Round on Sunday 31st July with a shotgun start followed by presentation of prizes.

Draw for our Club Fourball is now posted on the noticeboard.  Closing date for round 1 matches is Monday July 25th.


26th Killeagh GAA Golf Classic

A massive thank you to all concerned who took part in the 26th Annual Killeagh Gaa Classic from July 13th – 16th at the beautifully aligned West Waterford golf club.   A massive 137 teams took part in the four day event which is going as strong as ever.

Prizewinners: Overall winner: Team Ken Power 99pts.Ken Power Damian Ryan and Pat Kelly.  Runner Up: Redwood Power Tools 94pts, Michael Tim and Alan Crotty. Best Gross: Crowley’s Service Station 77gross. Ian Paul and Paul Moylan.

Non GUI: Stephen Murphy 96. Stephen Murphy, Alan Keating and Shane Cullinane.

Best Ladies: Hotel Minella c/o Aisling Fennell 85pts.

Overall there  was a total of 25 prizes.  Congratulations to all the prizewinners.

A huge Thank You to anyone who played in any role in the success of our Classic.

Finally a special word of thanks to Ray Rochford and his team who put months of preparatory work into the event.  We look forward to seeing you all at the 27th Killeagh Classic in West Waterford GC on July 12-15th 2023.


Waterford Ladies reach All Ireland semi final

Congratulations to Derek Lyons and the Waterford ladies camogie team who booked their place in the All Ireland semi final vs Cork in Croke Park next weekend.  Wishing you the very best of luck from all in West Waterford GC.
