Congratulations to Gary Hurley who crowned a magnificent year in his golfing career by being awarded the title of Munster Young Golfer of the Year 2010. This major achievement comes as no surprise when one considers the record of this young man over the past year. Gary represented his country in the Boy’s Home international at Southerness and had the distinction of being undefeated in his six matches as Ireland romped to an emphatic victory.

Two weeks later Gary competed in the British Boys Amateur championship at Kilmarnock (Brassie), once again holding his own in competition with 252 golfers from 20 countries. Loyal clubman that he is, Gary took an early flight home to represent his club in the Senior Cup semi final at Castletroy on August 15th. To crown a year of achievements Gary was chosen as one of only two junior golfers to represent Ireland at Sawgrass in the United States. All at West Waterford will rejoice in Gary’s success in 2010, and look forward to many more memorable performances in the valtrex future.
