Members intending to play on Sunday 24^th June are reminded that due to the ILGU Leagues 3^rd round, the course is fully booked from 8.30am to 3.30 pm on Sunday.

Captain’s Prize 2012

The captain’s prize kindly presented by Tom Power takes place from Friday 29^th June  to Sunday 1^st: July.  The top 80 qualifiers from Friday and Saturday will play in the second round on Sunday.  Members are reminded that this is also a Golfer of the Year competition with half the player’s combined scores determining the g.o.y score.  Timesheets now posted are filling up fast so you are advised to book early to ensure your preferred time for this most prestigeous event.

Irish Mixed Foursomes
 

A decisive victory over Dunmore East at Gold Coast on Saturday set up a mouthwatering contest with the host club on Sunday morning.  With the result in the balance throughout the match,  Gold Coast finally prevailed on a 3-2 winning margin.  Well done to Malcolm Ashby and his team on a great performance in the competition.  A special thank you to Bob and all at the Gold Coast for looking after us in their  usual professional manner.

Killeagh G.A.A. Golf Classic
 

16^th Annual Killeagh G.A.A. Golf Classic at West Waterford on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 5^th, 6^th and 7th July.  An Open 3 Person Team Event. The competition format is 2 balls counting everywhere; teams of 3 any combination playing together.  Prizes for 35 Teams.  Time Sheet with Ray Rochford ( Tel: 087 2330054)

Mid Summer Scramble and BBQ takes place on Friday 22^nd June, names taken at 6.30pm....shotgun start at 7pm.  If attending please let office know by 12 noon on Friday 22^nd June @ 058 43216.  This event is  organised by  the Social Committee.

Our very popular high handicap competitions continue every Tuesday with all handicap levels welcome to participate.  All outstanding high handicap vouchers are now available at the office.

Al Eile Stud Open Competition

Our very popular Al Eile Stud Open Competition continues every Wednesday until the grand final on 26^th September. Our thanks to Al Eile Stud who have kindly sponsored this competition.
