Ladies Winter League: The Winter league is now well underway with the 1^st round completed. Teams and rules are posted in the ladies locker room. Following the long spell of bad weather it’s good to see the ladies back on the fairways and getting in their cards for round 1. The 2^ND rd started on Jan 25^th and runs until Feb 7^th and it is 13 hole singles.

Top four scores for each team are counted in each round but there is also a bonus point for each team member that plays. Re-entry permitted but only one card per player is taken. It is the responsibility of each team to ensure games are played on time.

It was great to see that there was almost a 100% playing record by all teams and following round 1 this is how the league table looks - Taking top spot is The Daffodils with 104, in 2^nd place is the Tulips (93) closely followed by Azaleas (91) and Hyacinths (90), the final two places go to Crocus (78) and the Violets (78). It may look like the Daffodils are in control but it’s early days & a lot of golf to be played so get out there and help move your team up the ladder for round 2. Also don’t forget that round 3 & 4 is singles match play.
