The opening of this fine, Dungarvan development in 1993, was a particularly proud occasion for the designer, Eddie Hackett, who was seeing his 100th course become ready for play. The course is located in the Brickey Valley, just outside Dungarvan.

A dramatic backdrop to the beautifully rolling terrain is provided by the Comeragh and Knockmealdown Mountains to the north and east and the Drum Hills immediately to the south.

The 6,712 yard, Par 72 championship course is challenging enough to warrant the use of the front tees instead. An interesting feature is that the first nine holes are laid out on a large plateau featureing a lovely stream which comes into play at the 3rd and 4th holes. The Brickey river traverses the southern boundary and features on the challenging 2nd, 12th, 14th, 15th and 16th holes.

The feature hole of the front nine is the 190-yard third, as good a par-three as is likely to be found anywhere in the country. The lower-lying, homeward journey is dominated by the fearsome, par-four 12th.
