The Junior Matchplay (The Ray Spratt Cup) is now at the quarter-final stages and all matches should be played as soon as possible.

Dungarvan Pairs Classic:

The 3 day competition was held on the 3 local courses, Dungarvan, Gold Coast and West Waterford on Tuesday 26^th, Wednesday 27^th and Thursday 28^th September and despite the somewhat inclement weather the event proved a resounding success. The presentation of prizes took place in Lord McGuire's Pub (Ballinroad) on Thursday evening before a packed audience with officers from the 3 Clubs in attendance together with the sponsors and Tournament Co-coordinators who were especially delighted to have obtained considerable sponsorship for the event from Lord McGuire's Pub (Ballinroad), Heaven Scent Florists (Ballinroad) and Kia Motors (Waterford) and the array of prizes on display was testament to the goodwill of the aforesaid sponsors.

Names Only on Timesheets and Cancelled Tee times:

With more limited time available for play and increased playing numbers, the practice of putting down a name +1 or +2 is no longer acceptable. With immediate effect +1 or +2 on singles timesheets will be removed. Only individual names will suffice as this facilitates the smooth running of the timesheet, by identifying who is actually booked in to play with whom. All members are also urged to telephone the office if they wish to cancel a tee time that they have booked in the interest of fairness to all.
