Another Scratch Cup for West Waterford
Congratulations to Mark Shanahan on winning the Kilkenny Golf Club Senior Scratch Cup competition played at the weekend. Sponsored by Smithwicks the competition finished on Sunday with Mark winning a playoff after rounds of 72 and 69.

West Waterford had a comfortable win over Carrick-on-Suir in the first round of the Brennan Cup competition at West Waterford on Sunday Afternoon.

Timesheet Notice
Please remember: Players with their names on the timesheet have priority on the 1st tee.
All members are also urged to telephone the office if they wish to cancel a tee time that they have booked in the interest of fairness to all.
Subscriptions:
Subscriptions for 2006 should at this stage be paid in full, please remit the appropriate amount by post or to the office in person, immediately.
A reminder that the entry for the Club Fourball closes at the weekend. Anyone wishing to enter should put their name in the entry sheet or call the office to book their place before Sunday 21st April
Dungarvan Golf International

This prestigious event now in its eighth year takes place from 23rd to the 25th May at our three local courses. The International which is jointly sponsored this year by Michael Ryan and his company Saltan Properties together with Bulmers is a showcase event for golf in the area and brings an influx of visitors to the town and surrounding areas which is of benefit to all. Any member of West Waterford, who brings a team, can avail of a free golf entry. This must be specified at the entry stage and all teams must include at least two visitors. Locker allocation:
The locker fee for 2006 is €15 and should now be paid, any member wishing to forfeit his/her locker is asked to inform the office so that vacant lockers may be made available for hire to members on the waiting list.
