The Self-help Charity Open Fourball took place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 4th, 5th, and 6th August. This Charity Fourball event which is an annual event is the brainchild of Justin Spratt.

The timesheet is now posted for the President’s Prize 2005 kindly presented by Willie Lyons. The competition takes place on Friday 19th, Saturday 20th & Sunday 21st August and will be a 36-hole Stableford event off the white markers. The draw for playing partners and precise playing time takes place in the Clubhouse on Thursday evening 18th August at 9pm. Willie is a staunch and hard-working Club member, and has done Trojan work in attempting to carry out numerous Club duties, and I am sure all the members will be out in force to support him. We wish Willie and his wife Geraldine all the very best for this prestigious weekend at West Waterford.
HIGH HANDICAP ANNUAL OUTING
The Annual High handicap Outing to Water Rock Golf Club takes place on Sunday 14th August, teeing off at 1.30pm. The cost, which has yet to be decided, includes green fees and bus. Any member whatever handicap is eligible to travel but numbers are limited to 35 players. If you have any queries regarding the outing please contact either Edward Hickey (058-46374) or Ollie Broderick (058-41775). A list is now posted in the main hallway and interested members are requested to place their names on the list provided.
