IRISH MIXED FOURSOMES
The Irish Mixed Foursomes took place last weekend in Tramore Golf Club with the West Waterford team reaching the quarterfinal stages. On Saturday morning they saw off a strong Youghal team, which set up a showdown with our neighbors the Gold Coast in which they also came out victorious. On Sunday morning they were unlucky to be beaten by a stronger Tramore team. Well done and commiseration's to team managers Ollie Broderick and Alicia Browne and to team members: Tess Reynolds, Vera Nugent, Phil Kelly, Eithne Ashby, Marie Curran, Jenny Sweeney, Mary Quinlan, Joan Curran, Kathleen Broderick, Bernie Twomey, Micheal Gee, John Flynn, Mark Shanahan, Seamus Power, David Curran, Cian Kearney, Tommy Butler and John Keane. The team managers would like to thank the panel for their efforts throughout the weekend. Thanks to Tramore Golf Club for their hospitality throughout the weekend.

CONDOLENCES
Sincere condolences to Austin and Tomas Curran and Aine Parks and to all the Curran family on the death of former Waterford hurling stalwart Tom Curran. May he rest in Peace.
