JUNIOR SCRATCH CUP.

The Junior Scratch Cup competition this year is being very kindly sponsored by Waterford Crystal. It takes place on Easter Monday 28^th March and is an 18-hole Stroke event with handicap range of 5 to 11. The timesheet always fills up very quickly for this prestigious event and prompt reservation of your tee-time is advised. Wednesday 30^th March – 18-hole Stableford, Club Competition. Prizes dependent on entries.

Time sheets apply for all club competitions. Please put up you’re name and those playing with you for your place on the Tee. Players with their names on the timesheet have priority on the 1^st Tee

FORTHCOMING EVENTS

Ballymacarbry Community Golf Classic

The Ballymacarbry Community Golf Classic takes place on Thursday 24^th, Friday 25^th and Saturday 26^th March. It is a team of 4 stableford, gents, ladies or mixed with an entry fee of EUR140 per team and in order to make a reservation please telephone West Waterford on 058-43216 or 058-41475 as timesheets are filling up very quickly.

FÁILTE HOUSE OPEN QUALIFIER

The timesheet for our first Wednesday Open which commences on Wednesday 13^th April will be posted shortly. This competition generates huge interest year on year, with this year’s event promising to be the most successful to date. This Open Qualifier is a keystone of the golfing calendar at West Waterford Golf and Country Club and Fáilte House are delighted to be associated with the event. The Competition will run every Wednesday throughout the summer. To reserve your tee-time on the timesheet please telephone the Clubhouse on 058-43216 or 058-41475. FIXTURE BOOKLETS

Our fixture booklet for the 2005 season is now freely available at the office and all members are urged to pick up a copy in order to make themselves familiar with the up and coming events of what promises to be an extremely busy golfing year at West Waterford Golf and Country Club.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

As we approach Easter all subscriptions for the 2005 season should now be paid. We request that all members who haven’t paid to please submit the appropriate amount to the office, by post or in person immediately.

LOCKER ALLOCATION

The locker fee for 2005 is EUR 15 and if this fee and any arrears are not paid immediately, the relevant locker will be forfeited and be made available for hire to members on the waiting list.
