CARE OF THE COURSE
It has come to our attention that the scourge of pitch/plug marks on greens, is rearing its ugly head once more, not that it ever goes away permanently, just ask the greenkeeper and his fellow workers. Day in day out the course workers are doing their utmost to ensure the quality of the playing surfaces on the greens and it is soul destroying to be faced with unrepaired greens again. As stated previously, numerous visitors to our club in recent months have been complimentary on the quality and appearance of our golf course, please do your level best to keep it this way.
SUBSCRIPTIONS
As we approach Easter all subscriptions for the 2005 season should now be paid. We request that all members who haven’t paid to please submit the appropriate amount to the office, by post or in person immediately.
FIXTURE BOOKLETS
Our fixture booklet for the 2005 season is now well on the way to being with the publishers, as several members of the Committee are putting together the final nuts and bolts of the calendar for 2005. It should be published in approximately two weeks time and will be freely available in the office. All members are urged to pick up a copy in order to make themselves familiar with the up and coming events of what promises to be an extremely busy golfing year at West Waterford Golf and Country Club.
