Result from Wednesday 17th November. Open 16-hole Stableford

FIXTURES

Captains’ Golf Day

The Captain's Golf day scheduled for Saturday 20th November has been postponed until Sunday 28th November. The event will be hosted by our outgoing Captains, Reena McDonnell and Michael Walsh who will wrap up what has been a very successful year for them as ambassadors for the Club. The format for the competition will be a 9-hole scramble for Ladies and Gents with a shotgun start at 1pm. After the Scramble finger food will be available in the Clubhouse and also entertainment and presentation of all outstanding prizes. All members are urged to do their utmost to participate on the day.

ANNUAL GENERAL MEETINGS

The annual general meetings of both the Ladies Club and the Men’s Club will take place in the Clubhouse on Wednesday night 24th November at 8pm and all those eligible are requested to be in attendance.

 

NEWS FROM AMERICA

Congratulations to our incoming President Willie Lyons on winning the Waterford Crystal sponsored challenge competition played last week at Myrtle Beach California. Best of the rest of the Irish was Justin Spratt who kept the home flag flying. Our Handicap Secretary Michael O'Dwyer who informed us that a great time was had by all ably reported the news.
