Captains’ Golf Day

On Saturday 20^th November our Captains, Reena McDonnell and Michael Walsh will host a Golf day to wrap up what has been a very successful year for them as ambassadors for the Club. The format for the competition will be a 9-hole scramble for Ladies and Gents with a shotgun start at 1pm. After the Scramble finger food will be available in the Clubhouse and also entertainment and presentation of all outstanding prizes. All members are urged to do their utmost to participate on the day.

Included in the list of who should attend to collect outstanding prizes are the following: - David Curran, Ger Scully, Mark Coughlan, John Flynn, Joan Sheehan, Edward Hickey, Joan Curran, Michael Landers, June Whyte, Michael Connolly, John Laverty, Eleanor Nugent, Ben Price, Noel Murray, John Keane, Paudie O’Mahoney, Fintan Gee, Noel Conway, Kieran Gee, Patsy Donnelly.

Annual General Meetings

The annual general meetings of both the Ladies Club and the Men’s Club will take place in the Clubhouse on Wednesday night 24^th November at 8pm and all those eligible are requested to be in attendance.

CARE OF THE COURSE

Repairing of pitch/plug marks on greens is absolutely essential and the replacing of divots on tees and fairways is also very important with regard to care of the course. This is especially important now that the summer and dry conditions are about to become a distant memory. Numerous visitors to our club during the summer months have been complimentary on the quality and appearance of our golf course, please do your best to keep it this way.
