PRESIDENT’S PRIZE 2004

The Presidents Prize this year is presented by John Murphy. The qualifying rounds played on Friday and Saturday were highly competitive and returned some high scores. Unfortunately due to the inclement weather on Sunday it was necessary to defer playing the final round. It has been rescheduled for Sunday next, August 29^th. Tee times for the final round are posted on the notice board. This is the one of the highlights in the golfing year calendar and we wish John and Alice all the best for next Sunday.

LAST SCRAMBLE.

The final scramble for the 2004 summer season is scheduled for Friday evening next August 27^th. We hope that all, who played in this event and more, will support this last scramble and enjoy the prize-giving afterwards. We look forward to a well-supported event.

The Club Mixed Foursomes is now at it’s semi-final stages which sees John Laverty and Eleanor Nugent take on Edward Hickey and Joan Sheehan with the winners advancing to play either Mick Connolly and June Whyte versus Michael Landers and Joan Curran in the final.
